CALL CENTRE

Yeah guys, after my a-levels ...i couldn't sit at home so i took up a job while waiting for application offers.SO, the job that i gt is Customer Service Executive in Celcom(M) Sdn Bhd.When i first hear the job, i was more than interested. But the truth was more fascinating then that.My work is i go there according to my shift time and answer calls that is related to celcom. After more than 3 months working here, I realized that each call i attend is actually a problem.Yes, thats the truth they call us only when they have problem, and each time they call us they think we are the problem solver who can solve any problem without any awareness that we are not GOD. And the call centre enviroment is the most busiest office after shhare brokers office i guess. You can hear people muttering vulgar words. Eventhough its quite hectic right here at the contact centre, i learnt a lot, even brush up my language and skills in handling different characters.Patience is the key for the survival in call centre because you will at least handle around 10-20 hi-rate calls in a month, so if you show any sign of anger of mistreat a customer then you will be in trouble which may cause you almost RM300/month.That is a bonus which is kept in reserve each month and you will only be entitled to get it if you dont have any bad records for the month. Not only that, at call centre each second is counted, the time you use to go to washroom, lunch time most of the activities. Its unlike other office jobs because here they have softphone feature. The phone we use to answer call and do whatever we want to do with customer and this tiny sofphone in the system watches our time on what we do and informs our boss, it looks silly bt thats what is happening here. They call it time management, so another thing we learn is TIME.hahaha..guys there are actually a lot more for me to share with you.A bunch of stories.hahaahaha
